Albright International Group of Schools was formerly founded in the year 1995 under the tutorship of late Mr. Moses Wiito a renowned school administrator, economist and guidance counsellor.
The school was first established at Kaani community in Bori urban with the inception of the nursery and primary section.
The school was among the first of its kind as a private school establish within the metropolis and was overwhelmingly embrace by many inhabitants of the territory and beyond as many pupils registered for the both sections.
The administrators of the school range from the Proprietress (Mrs. Justina M. Wiito) and the P.T.A. chairman who also function as members of board of trustees.
A further growth of the school beyond the basic section gave birth to the secondary section that boast it status geometrically, academically and in addition staff capacity.
In a bit to expand its scope of operation, the establishment of a sister college was founded in Bori through the conception and ideologies of Mrs. Justina M. Wiito in the year 2008. The respective sections (nursery, primary and secondary) was simultaneously put to operations.
The pioneer senior prefect boys was master Jackson while the senior prefect girls was Pretty Doba, some other students were master Jolly Dukpe(a Yoruba) and Blessing Chuks (a Deltan).
The pioneer Principal of the school was Mr. Sunday N. T. Penu. Others are Mr. Togi Barinedum, Togi Richard. The present Principal is Sir N. A. Isaac (MIEM) an experienced and retired director/educationist. The headmaster of the primary section is Mr. Nimaa Akpobari Gbaragbor.
The students and pupils capacity has increase astro-numerically while the staff strength of both sections is over twenty in number with additional 5 (five) corps member teaching in various disciplines of studies.
As a school built on God’s foundation, the students have a good moral standing and discipline backed with high academic achievement.
The motto of the school is “Foundation for Excellence” and the Proprietress of the school is Mrs. Justina M. Wiito.
